thank you for the reply i have not checked the underside of the lid ,if it is sticky what do you think the cause could be, i have everything hook up like factory and most is original ,i would like to look into my canister that would hold the charcoal i know that, that has never been looked into ,i do notice that the engine has to turn over more times to have the car start , while i pump the gas peddle 2/3 times ,thank you roger

sorry about that 454 original air cleaner , wide mouth snorkel ,how hard would it be to replace the charcoal in the canister , that helps with venting ,or do i have other issues ,never has done that before ,thanks roger

hi, I bought my car from the original owner 40+years ago , at the age of 17 and do remember that the original was silver/argent , but stupid me put headers on the car when i was 19 ,for one year,and on a good note kept the original cast manifolds and put a black tube on it but would like to go back to the original ,funny note even the model cars have a silver tube ,thanks a lot roger

yes, I forgot to mention , 454 factory big block , mine is a little tattered , thinking of getting the argent one , there not to pricy.

hi, has anyone with a new serria or canyon have braking issues, service bullien PIT5812 , my canyon with 300 miles has a grinding sound coming from the brakes ,the dealership said that they are redesigning the brake pads but will take 3.4 months to make, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks roger

i installed dynamat ,and got the acc with the mass backing ,would highly recommend , it made my factory exhaust, stock big block car, run a lot, quieter and alot cooler to drive , roger

yes i also did dynamat ,and mass backing on my acc carpet ,i have a factory 454 with stock exhaust ,and after adding the mat and mass backing ,it really made my car very quiet in the interior ,and don't have to blast the radio and can now have a conversation while driving ,highly recommend ,the sun will be your friend while installing,roger

hi, i also got the acc carpet for my 72 custom, with the mass backing ,did the sound deadener first ,when you get your carpet ,either choice put it in the sun unfolded the way it would go in the car , let the carpet relax before installing,roger

I was at that concert in New Lenox il. last friday ,and billy gibbons mentioned that dusty ,fell and hurt his hip, and they had a stand in, but were still very good,
