My 72 is all original, it has a black rear view mirror and no seat belt warning light... It was built in Kansas City.....

Back in 1972 my husband and i bought a monte carlo,,, he tried to talk me into a triple black custom with a 454 4-speed, i didnt go for it... instead we bought a mohave gold,tan top and tan interior with bucket seats and console ..... wish i had either one of them now..... wanda

I've noticed on some monte carlos along the top of the doors and rear quarter panels where the glass goes into the body a wide chrome piece, mine does'nt have this... Mine is just a like a rubber seal with a thin chrome bead.... Was it a option in 1972 for the wider chrome..... thanks wanda lee

REPLACING BOTH REAR AND FRONT BUMPERS THEY HAVE THE GUARDS, I WILL MAKE TEMPLATES OFF THE OLD ONES.... PLAN ON HAVING OLD GUARDS RE- CHROMED...... THANKS FOR THE TIPS..... WANDA

DID YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE BUMPER TO ATTACH THE GUARDS.... I DONT THINK I CAN GET MY HAND BEHIND THE BUMPER TO ATTACH THE NUTS TO THE BOLTS...... THANKS...... WANDA
