ClassicJJ Posted July 20, 2014 Share Posted July 20, 2014 I have a 200-4r in my car with a stock 350 and a 3:73 posi rearend. Now the problem I'm having with the Trans is when it goes into over drive it's almost like it's being held back just kind of putting along but experience with other overdrives such as the 700r4 it shouldn't feel like this. The worst is sometimes after it downs shifts from overdrive it puts through all the other gears as well almost like it's getting ready to stall out or something. Can somebody please tell me why this is happening and what to do to fix it! I forgot to mention it does have a 2000 stall. Please help!!! Jason72 Posted July 20, 2014 Share Posted July 20, 2014 Sorry to here your having problems James . If you only have the feeling of "putting" at lower rpm, the torque converter clutch may be stuck on.
