Vinny Posted March 7, 2001 Share Posted March 7, 2001 I am changing my 70 monte from an original 2 to a 4 barrel engine, I have the air cleaner and intake but need a carburator. Can anyone out there with a 350 4 barrel let me know the correct number matching carb that i need to find.(quadrajet) What # of carbs could have originally come on my car. Next two digits specify year: 1970 = 40 Next digit specifies 49 state: = 2 or CA = 5 Next digit specifies product id: Chevy = 0,1,2 Last digit specifies transmission: even = auto, odd = manual I would look on Ebay for one. California may use a different number.
