MCfan Posted August 19, 2016 Share Posted August 19, 2016 The GM Monte Carlo Assembly Manual for 1970 shows the Cable Grommet as an integral part of the Cable Assembly (GM P/N 3956765). You can get that assembly from the Parts Place (and probably other vintage car parts suppliers) but I don't see the grommet listed separately. I suggest you contact Leo Konik to see if he can get you a serviceable used one to slip onto your existing cable.
