overdrive
Now we need help with the rear glass. Should we use a fast set urethane or should we use a ribbon seal? Do we need a primer under either of these? We repainted the car about 2 1/2 wks ago and the pinchweld is painted and clean. Please help with idiot proof instructions or a link to good site would be greatly appreciated. We sure don't want a leak. Thanks, Dan.
Guest 71SSMC
I had a friend who installs glass help me with mine we used urethane, and we did prime the new paint surface for the urethane. We also used another primer on the glass edge. If you do use the urethane make some small shim blocks out of foam or byutl tape so the glass stays up the the proper height off the pinch weld. That way you have no gap between the glass and the chrome. Darrell
