Need an ET calculator

Recommended Posts

Now that I have solved the last piece of the puzzle (tranny converter), I want to know what to expect out of the box on my 1st qtr mile run. Thought I used to have a more inclusive calculator, but all I can find are weight and HP to calc ET.

Anybody with calculators that require rear gear, tranny and converter, tire diameter, carb, cu in etc...

Monte Carlo Drag Specifications

Engine HP 405

Engine Torque 440

Transmission T-350

Torque Converter 2800 RPM

Rear Gear 2.73 limited slip

Rear Tire Diameter 28 inch

Carb Holley 750 Vac Sec

Curb Weight 3500 lb???

Trans gear ratios

1st 2.52

2nd 1.52

3rd 1.00

Carl,

Try www.wallaceracing.com\Calculators.htm

Ya might be able to get close but there are lots of thing that come into play. Air, converter slip, 60', etc. The best test is the ole 1320 dyno.LOL laugh

Don't know what kind of tires you are running but some sticky DOT"s MT Hoosier will help. 60' is very important.

Good luck!

David
