kc8oye
I'venever followed laptop harware.. so I'm not sure what i'm dealing with here.. i've got this old laptop (circa 1996) it's an AMD k6-2 300mhz unit. it's only got a 2.0gb harddrive in it.. and i'd like to see about finding a larger drive for it.. 10gb or so would be plenty, but i'll go bigger if that's all I can get... now, I know like in my new desktop it uses SATA drives not the old style IDE drives.. so I don't know what I can & can't use with this thing.. how do I tell?? kc8oye
128mb of ram would be plenty.. this laptop doesn't have to do a whole lot.
kc8oye
if I could figure out how to address large quantities of ram with a micro controller, I wouldn't even need a laptop at all :>
