680HPStroker
I bought this high dollar NetGear wireless adapter to link up with my Net Gear wireless router, but there are issues. The adapter takes forever to establish a link with the router and when it does it will drop out a couple times before it maintains the link for a long time. Is this an interferance issue, or something else. Thanks.

680HPStroker
Don't have a clue. I'm pretty much software illiterate. I've had two different folks mess with the dang thing. One of them is a network administrator by trade. He left my house last Friday night thinking he had figured it out, when the machine that this adapter is on was fired up a few days later it was back up to it's old tricks. I'm at the point where it's run another cable line and buy a modem, or run a ethernet cable under the house from the router to the slave machine. Either way requires drilling holes that I'm not looking forward to.
monte70car
Stocker have you looked at putting a taller anntenna on the router? I had a linsys adapter for an old laptop and it was the same way.
