I spoke with Chris and that is exactly what he is going with his intentions for you. If you had different heads and intake then his design would be different as well. So your decision is if you are going to keep what you have for heads and intake then you need the smaller cam to bring what you have together. BigBlockMonte Posted May 18, 2011 Author Share Posted May 18, 2011 so since my heads are so big, they like to run at a high rpm, which is why members said I need a .600 plus lift camshaft, but since I'm only goin to 6-6200 when shifting, I'm not in the heads & intake good range of power. So to make the heads make good power from lets say 2500-6200rpm. A smaller cam is needed to make more torque and power in the 2500-6200 range. where the car will be all the time.
