IN RESPONSE TO OVERHEATING……

The radiator and I got from napa about five years ago. It’s pretty thin not sure what size. Fan shroud is good and in place. Car never overheated with old motor (1977 Chevy 350-with original stock Turbo 350) I drove the car to a car show in 110 degree heat about 60 miles away with out a thermostat and it ran 170-180 degrees which was ok. I have a JEGS overflow 1 pint recirculating catch can. Oil and antifreeze are clean as the day I put it in. So I think a headgasket is out of the question.
