patman
Will an oval port intake fit peanut port heads?
Mike 57
It will fit but it will not be the best for flow. There will be a large velocity change at head/intake and some mixture fall out. They do make intakes for the peanut port heads. And for a low RPM engine the are a pretty good performer.
patman
hhmmm I guess that I might as well replace the heads before spending money on a manifold then.
zmanabba
Depending on what you are wanting to do check out ebay or cl for a Performer intake. The ports are perfect for the pp heads. I am running a 1967 cast iron intake right now and it seems to do fairly well but i have a Performer I got off of ebay for 96.00 including shipping. But I am doing a little experiment to see how far I can take the pp heads. David
