Crewdog67
What's the difference between the Prima Cloth and the Knit type ? Is Prima a nylon type ? My 70 has more of a Velour type feel to it. Thanks
Canuck
The prima cloth has a pattern to it, the knit type is a plain cloth. The Velour type is not stock and must have been done by a previous owner.
Crewdog67
Hmmm...I have a CA built and CA lived 70, now presiding in W Mass. The upholstery pattern is correct for both my front and rear bench seat for a 70. The lower front, sides, back and head rests are Dark green. They match the door panels perfect in color and grain/texture. The front bench is even kind of squishy, do to its age. Wow, someone did a pretty good job of redoing the seats years ago, I guess. I have seen the prima cloth seats but to tell you the truth, I don't really run across too many Montes out here so when I do I really try to pay attention to all the differences. If I figure out how to add a pic ( help anyone ) I will add some pics.
Canuck
There were 3 types of materials in 1970: Riano cloth which has a pattern in it: Vinyl: Knit nylon:
Crewdog67
Thanks for the pics. Cleared it up a bit. Man, I thought my seats were stock.
