  1. Agreed. No numbers. Not positive but I think one of the heater hoses was ribbed and the other was not. I think the bypass hose was ribbed also
  2. It was cheaper for gm to stop drilling all the holes in the dash and just glue them on.
  3. Rear springs and shocks done, original Monte steering wheel back in place, am/ fm radio has an internal short so we’re debating on replacement radio ( Kelly wants original style no digital). Checking the brakes, one blown wheel cylinder and one metal line the refuses to come off so complete rear brakes and doing the front as well. The rotors are still the original but thin. I’ll get all the fluids changed since it’s on jack stands ( no cinder blocks this time lol). Slight transmission leak and a little engine oil under the car. Hasn’t been run much and not driven so I'm hoping that chills once it’s driven. We will see on that.
  4. I wonder if that would still pertain to the original tires. I could use a new label. lol.
  5. If it’s something you “ really want “ I don’t think you can overpay. You did the research and were not happy with what was out there at the time. The biggest problem I have is the never ending knot in my stomach. How long do you want to keep looking when it’s right there and that’s exactly what you want? I don’t have any problem with it because you didn’t way overpay. What’s a few grand in the big picture? I wouldn’t worry about it. My two cents ( cuz that’s all I have right now).
  6. Very nice. But again with the price. That’s SS money.
  7. My brother is looking for the radio hole section of the dash for a 70. See if he has any.
  8. That’s because none of them ran long enough. And not worth fixing 😮
  9. I picked up a relatively new dual exhaust set up for a 70-72 chevelle off marketplace ( factory manifolds) and I bolted it right up to my 72 Custom 454. Not what that is supposed to have but it beat nothing. I’ll correct it on the restoration.
  10. I’m sure they can but in that case I wouldn’t order the Gardner. It’s way to expensive to cut up and modify.
  11. The 72 I picked up in Texas ( what a shame topic) is white , green bucket interior and green vinyl top( mostly gone) and I think it’s a good looking combo.
  12. It all depends on what you have planned for the car. If you’re restoring then green, if you’re not then go with your choice. The cost difference is probably due to having to jamb the car.
  13. Oh I see. Start out with the threats. lol. 😂
  14. I have Gardner on my 71 SS and sitting here waiting to go on my 70 SS. Expensive but fits like a glove ( not like OJ’s).
  15. Ugh. lol. Pretty good dad jokes.
  16. So what you’re saying is , you have an issue with watermelons. Hmmm, I can work with that SIR.
  17. That’s Gardner price.
  18. Holy Truck that’s a lot of trucks.
  19. Did you give it a good smack down? Sometimes they can be stubborn.
  20. Don’t take any offense to this but I’d rather have the truck. The Camaro is nice but I like the old square bodies.
  21. Tap the add files at the bottom of the post. See if that gets you to your pictures.
  22. He should have. I sent him some with his 5 year anniversary gift. lol. 😂
