Post a link to it if it is one of yours, or email it to me and I can try to figure out why it won't work. Alan I see the different colors in all of those places, it may be the theme you are using.. Which one do you use? Ian

  3. Try a colder thermostat, it may be flowing too much and not letting the water hang out in the radiator long enough.. What does it top out for temp? My big block runs at 193 all day long.. Ian
  4. The next time I replace mine I will be going steel as well. I bought new plastic ones when I had the car painted 5-6 years ago, and they are already cracking, and I don't even drive it much. Ian
  5. What Capri said also you do not need to use a URL, you can just upload it from your computer to our site. Ian
  6. DO they may a conversion kit for Big Blocks to go to 4 bolt mains. One engine builder I used in the past said the on the small blocks the 2 bolt blocks were usually sturdier and better cores. He would put the after market splayed kits in them if you really wanted 4 bolt mains... Ian
  7. I am sure Sam will chime in on this, but I think the headers will fit differently, you need a distributor with an adjustable collar, and the heads / valve covers will stick up more... Ian
  8. Rob make sure you send me some to create the meet page on the site when you get a chance. I will be back home Sunday night from camping. Ian
  9. Way to go to all the winners! Also everyone else that went deserves credit for making it to the show, you all are winners in my book! Ian
  10. Wow that was quite a great bunch of pictures Caps! Great job to all who worked hard to put it together, and hats off to all attended and had a great time! Ian
  11. WOW!!! How did that happen! I guess a new head is on order... Ian
  12. Does it have a floor shifter now? If so you can buy a kit to change it to the 4 speed pattern. Ian
  13. Allen, those are not cheap Chinese made, Larry makes them. Ian
  14. The hooker super comp headers for my old V8 Monza were like that so that you could get them around the sub frame... Ian
  15. Vaugn do you recall what kit that is? Or did you piece it together. That looks like what I want to get someday... Ian
  16. Wait till you go 11.9's for the first time, when I had my Olds Cutlass that was a strip only car the first time I broke into the 11's I think I about broke the steering wheel because I was pounding on it so hard for joy! I started in the high 14's with it. Ian
  17. Ian

    trans swap

Someone (I think Tim) told me the front yoke off a TH350 would work and be stronger than the "bird" one... Ian
  18. Nice job Tim! Ian
  19. Ok I see it now Ian
  20. Tim, that is the back side, right? Ian
  21. Make sure to take pictures when you get all the parts. That sounds like a nice setup. Ian
  22. Thanks for sharing, I am with Allan I did not want the story to end. Talk about the good old days, I bought my first Monte for $600 and my second one for $6800 and in worse shape. Ian
  23. Nice run! It always feel good to see a new part make a difference. Ian
  24. WOW Bruce, is that the same car that is in your signature? Must have been nice to be able to but GM sheet metal back then. When I bought mine in '98 it came with a GM 1/4 and front fender. The guy had bought them way back, he was the original owner. Ian
  25. Yeah I saw that one in Supper Chevy and drooled all over it I will get the setup I have tuned one of these days, it just takes time. Just about every time I take it out I tweak a little on it. It is just about perfect when it is in closed loop cruising down the road. I also think that I am going to either buy a 454HO crate motor or build a new 454+ engine one day, as that is what they designed the kit around Ian
