  1. I was able to reuse my clips, having said that, I would recommend new if it is easy. I had 2 tops worth of clips and broke a few installing them. I also had a few that are holding on by the littlest thread
  2. Since there were no replies I guess no one has come across this. After a lot of wonderin, askin, and lookin, I figured it out. I did get help with how to put the black plastic clips went on but the yellow clips go on the sail panels, the long metal clips hold the moldings on at the bottom behind the quarter glass and the little metal clips hold the ends of the long molding between the back window and the trunk.
  3. Hello and thanks in advance, I am trying to figure out the clips for the vinyl top mouldings. Do they push forward or back, also, there are a couple short metal clips and a couple long metal clips that are held on with a nut. Which one goes where? Any help is greatly appreciated.
  4. Those are some nice cars, next year, next year.
  5. Thanks everyone, I will keep those suggestions in mind the next time I have to remove them. Are there any suggestions for install, I was able to install both front pieces without incident but damaged the long molding on the drivers side and not the passenger side, I also damaged the molding on the drivers side at the quarter glass but not the passenger side. Feeling rather frustrated. I had a spare for the drivers side but damaged it as well and it won't stay on.
  6. I was just wondering if there is a special tool for removal/installation of the drip rail molding? I have ruined 2 sets now and am also looking for another set but am afraid to pursue this endeavor until I know more.

  8. You Guys are awesome. I will get the assembly manual. I got the one window in and I do recall it being quite a pain to get them out. Thanks for the help with the window. Now I just have to figure out the doors, lol. I don't remember there being so many parts in the door. I am using rubber seals from OPGI and am not impressed with fit, are there better ones out there?

  17. Hey , I'm new here and this is my first post. I am in the process of getting my 72 painted. The fellow that did the body work deleted some of the mounting holes for the side mouldings on the fender behind the wheel opening. Is there a template out there or some measurements? Any help would be greatly appreciated
