  2. I think it's going to be a fun weekend. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Saturday night. Zachary is getting excited. Will be detailing the car Friday.
  3. Not expensive. You have to remove the inner fender to get to the motor.
  4. That's a good price. Remember having one rebuilt in the 80's for around that amount and I thought that was a lot.
  5. That would be cheaper. I would try to match the color and wire size.
  6. The guys at hood hinge repair impressed me. They refinish the hinges and replace the ribbits with there hand machined ribbits. They say they are better than OEM and they operate like they are supposed to.
  7. Glad you caught the naked wires before they shorted out.
  8. Do your eyes focus together? I can only use one at a time. My left eye is my Lazy eye. Mine are nowhere near that bad. I'm glad the surgery worked for you.
  9. American Wire should have the harness you need. I had lazy eye surgery as a child and have leasrned to live with singular vision. http://shop.americanautowire.com/search.aspx?find=Monte+Carlo&log=false&category=964
  10. I get 13.4 between S-B, .3 between B-C and 16.6 between S-C. OHMS that is.
  11. Can anyone else tell me which prongs to test with the ohm meter?
  12. Is there a way to test the Thermal Limiter Switch on the AC Compressor? My compressor is not working and I'm getting power to the limiter.
  13. Probably not unless you order or request certain parts.

    Basic tune-up

Check to make sure carb bolts are tight. May be a vacum leak.
  15. Can someone reference the post here that details the removal of the Dash? Thank You Jim
  16. Thanks for all the help and suggestions. I'll let you know.
  17. The antenna trimmer in the radio should not need adjustment. I would leave that to the pro's but radio grounds and speaker wires I would check.
  18. Well the Driveshaft has been balanced and my mechanic said he drove it between 60-80 and no vibration hallelujeah. I haven't had a chance to drive it on the highway yet but I trust him. I will soon weather permitting. I can't believe this part of the journey might be over.
  19. PUI is usually the manufacturer sold by most. The quality is good for seat covers. I had an upholsterer install mine so I'm not sure how hard they were to install. I also had him install new foam.
  20. If you were hit in the rear and have no dash speakers then it might be a loose speaker wire in the trunk. You would be surprised how some people make speaker wire connections.
