  1. I was talking to a friend last night about that very thing and he said if your fuel line is touching the heads or intake that it is heating the gas and you need to get the line off the engine he also said there is a fuel line insulation you can get and cut to fit and that should take care of it.
  2. I have a Pioneer AM/FM CD Super Tuner. Probably 25 watts per channel.
  3. Not me brother. I just like to rock it sometimes. I don't have a power amp. I do have kick panel speakers but can't hear them much.
  4. Can those speakers handle the power from the aftermarket radio?
  5. After I had my rear end rebuilt with all new parts it still has a vibration when I let off of the throttle or easy on the throttle. My mechanic said to drive it for 500 miles and bring it back to him and he will check it out. I bought everything from Randy's Ring and pinion and changed to a limited slip differential and we used high performance gear lube with the posi additive from Chevy Dealer.
  6. You may need to bleed the whole system. I think you have to do something at the proportioning valve to get them bled properly.
  7. On my wife's first Monte I somehow was able to install a set of 3 1/2" in the dash. There is a company out there that makes the small magnet speakers but I'm not sure how much power they can handle. Someone posted it a good while back.
  8. I put a 3.08 differential in my Monte and previously had a 2.73 can't tell much difference.
  9. It's a pretty simple operation. There are several phillips screws holding it in place above the gauges and in the glove box.If it is a column shift put it in neutral or drive and slide the pad towards you. Watch for the line up clips at the windshield. They may fall off behind the dash. The speakers are another issue. They are 4x6 with small magnets and the driver side sits directly behind the gauge cluster. It was designed specificaly for that location and no room for aftermarket speakers. Some have done it though with a little engineering.
  10. I was going to suggest wheel balance, Air pressure and possibly flat spots from sitting for a while but you probably already considered that. I had the same issue after getting mine back on the road when I went to Anderson 2 years ago. I don't do a lot of interstate driving so I don't get a chance to notice it I have since completely rebuilt my rearend since then.
  11. The factory Speedo Gear housing is made of aluminum and tends to leak over time. The only solution is to change to a steel housing but be careful to pull the plastic speedo gear when pulling the housing or it will fall into the tailpiece. This is on a 350Turbo.
  12. Is the zinc additive required in the GM 350 crate motor since it was built based on the 80 model engines?
  13. It looks a little different from 1972. I forwarded it to my friend Ned who has a danglng hose that looks like it has a yellow stripe and a firewall gromet attached to it. It hangs below the glovebox.
