  1. I would have to go with possible frame damage or possibly it was hit on the side and the frame is fine but the body got slid on its mounts over some. Check the distance between the frame and Rocker panel lip on both sides front, back and even back by rear side markers. You may just need to loosen them up and square the body back up on the frame.
  2. Let us know how you like these and how the ride is affected.
  3. That's what I thought... Thanks
  4. Ok I know stupid question, but as always, I'm working on a budget. I am going back to my horseshoe shifter with a 200-4r or 700-r4. Can I use a shifter cable out of say a 3rd or 4th gen camaro from a junk yard? Or do I just need to pony up the extra $ for a repo for a fgmc? I know I will need the kit from Shiftworks for the detent and shift plate lens. But I have yet to see instructions as to which cable I need. I really don't remember what the orginal cable ends look like as I had a rachet shifter in it before it set for way too long... Progress pics: http://s459.photobucket.com/albums/qq318/slaman37/

    No more A/C

Ok, thanks. I'm doing it a little different. I got a serpitine set-up of a 90 Camaro RS, so I got to get hoses to fit that, but the big thing I'm still needing is the condensor/receiver.

    No more A/C

The no A/C is ggod for performance. But now that I'm trying to return my Monte to a driver I have to go and find all the parts again...

    Traction Bars

I have not used traction bars, but I can attest to how hard the ladders make the ride. Hit a bump coming out of the parking lot and the rear just bounced, no suspension travel... broke my steering wheel in the process . They did make it launch a lot harder though, with a lot less wheel spin...

    200r4?

All I can say is I'm going with a 700R4 because I got it cheap, still need a converter though. As for a 350 Turbo, The shop I had build my last one gave me an unconditional 100% parts and labor garantee, 6 months street car, 1 year trailored race car, that I could not break it. He claimed he put them behind 800 Hp BBC all the time and had not lost one yet... Of course he built the tranny for the "Grave Digger".
