Not sure where to post this. This was a Chevrolet dealership in High Point, North Carolina Called Lyle's Chevrolet Company. My car didn't come from there, But I am Lyle and it's a Chevy so I would really like to find a nameplate to put on the decklid, or a license plate bracket would be cool or whatever is around. Don't know if anyone on here is in that area or is familar with the dealer. Info would we great. Don't know if or when it went out of business. Thank; Lyle

Good Deal. Thanks: It amazes me how many cars actually have build sheets in them when they aren't even supposed to be left in the cars. But really the only way to truly doc a chevrolet.

Do you also have build sheet? This is a reproduction window sticker isn't it?

I have noticed 2 71 SS buildsheets with this option listed. Does anyone know what is included in this option?

So on the list currently I have 53 70's and 36 71's I removed the ones without complete VIN's as they may be duplicates. I had 4 of the canada vins but can't find them Again anyone who wants to add their info please send it. I am not including any personal info (addresses, garage codes, etc) In my 66 years I have only seen a handful of these and always get people asking about them as they never knew they made them. So I have 80 + on the list. If anyone has checked the list and seen there vin and need to note any additions (color change etc) PLMK. Also if you have one and it isn't on this list and you want it added PLMK. I'd like to try to get at least 100 listed. Rethinking number left out there; could be in the hundreds instead of thousands. Black. Was originally lt green with white top. Green guts Guy who bought it wanted to negotiate so I kept the wheels and tires and he got the original rallys saved some.

I am fine with this if you want to continue. Like adding the site info in it. Says my subscription has expired so would have to subscribe if I were to add to it. For my own use probably keep with want I have Way I was doing it was without buildsheet it needed either matching numbers motor, protecto-plate, or all big block extras intact and Load lever system and hockey sticks (on 71) in place. All cars listed did that. Whatever help you need LMK

Maybe a National Monte Carlo Owners Association Decal from in the eightys. Didn't find a good pic of it Tried blowing it up it is attached.

Well Thanks guys for the responses. Yeah I don't really have anything on my computer to do this with. That's why i was hoping someone else was and I could pass along the info. 3000 is probably high but I feel the ratio of SS cars built to still around is probably much higher than non-SS Montes. As you all know they make great parts cars for chevelles guys. Seen and parted many montes in salvage yards never seen a SS in one tho. The ** I have removed but they are cars I owned. I thought I was a paying member I had a decal on my Silver SS; Would have been about 14 years ago. I was able to buy that car back after not having it for around 15 years because of this site. Old timers may remember that it was in St Louis @ gateway They were talking about on here and I was able to buy it back. Then Life got in the way again and sold it . I thought there might be more interest in this. Got one reply. Seen 26 downloads but no one wants to add anything . Of the 5000 plus cars built I would think 3000 are probably still around. I have about 70 on the list. Are the other sites where there are people who own these cars? I was i member here years ago; seemed to be more going on then. If there is no interest I will quit wasting my time on it.
