rob there show be a stwich just above the gas padle for the kick down on the 400. there should be two wires i believe there r orange and black which runs down to the trans. that should be the only kickdown for the 400. no cable need since its a elec kickdown.
the only thing u will need is sheet metal to fill in the hole where the power window wires run in other then that it will fit in with not problem. unbolt the power ulit and pop it out the track and bolt the mechanical window in the same hole.

had a set of 15x10 rally wheels with 295/50 on them 5" backspacing had to trim the quarter panle lips a lil. now im runin 16x8 chrome rallys with 255/50 on the back. if u can find a 15x10 rim with a 4" or 4.5" backspacing u might not have to trim the quarter panle. the 15x10 that were on my monte is on a 57 nomad and we cut the spot welds and kncoked the hub out about a .5" to 1".

no problem the bumper for the nomad had a hole in it and they filled the hole in and u cant tell it was filled in or not. if they r any # on the bumper u might want to write it down in case the # comes off druin the rechromin.
im not sure what shippin would be we picked up the bumper for the nomad in carisle,pa. try doin a sreach for tri city platers.

now mike dont forget it could be a oil leak on the hearders or trans fuild. but 880 and 440 loyd u most be usin a turbo and at less 4 stage nos. hate to see what the tires look like.lol
find a ss dash and put that in the car to save the time might cost a lil more but at less it will be in the right spot. on a ss dash the tach goes where the big gas gauge is on the dash now. the ss dash will have a lil gas gauge which is under the water gauge.

yep thats the same welder i bought to do somein welding on my dads 57 nomad it runs very hot and keep blowin holes in the panels. so we took it to work and took the companys miller which dont brun holes in the panels. so far the only probably we have ranned into with the lincoln weld pak 100 is that it needs a 20 amp breaker 15amp breaks blow.

in the chevrolet ss muscle car red book the only codes they give for ss montes are and i "cgw- 454 ci v-8 4 bbl 360 gp, 4 speed manual" the other one is "cgt 454 ci v-8 4 bbl 360 hp, turbo hydra mtic autonmatic"
at least u all got ur build sheets. find my under the seat but it was to far gone to make anything out of it. i only got a a little bite from it but not all of it.
puttin the glass back is fairly easy. i had both of mine out and then turned around and put them back in. the only glass that is hard to find is the rear quarter glass. but if u broke the back glass i got one left over.
