Holy Smoke, 30 inches is pretty good... I would be happy if my Monte gets 20 inches in idle and park... This is the first time I hear vaccum related to ignition timing, but it probably can be done somehow...

What kind of vacuum gauge is that? What is your vacuum reading at idle? I have similar timing values on my 454 BBC, but can not keep a 600 rpm idle, more like 800 rpm...

454 BBC, 2.5" exhaust, Magnaflow mufflers, electric operated cutouts here... No x or h here....

Buick Side Mirrors (yes, there is one on the passenger side) with Ford Focus power mirror controller in the driver side door... And I also added LED Tunrsignals to the Mirrors: -

If you are not too concerned about staying original, National Parts Depot has a hard plastic package tray with 6x9 speaker pods and a 3rd brake light (optional) integrated....

What's wrong with the 71 Grill? The only thing I had to do to make mine fit perfectly is to elongate the mounting holes a little bit, no big deal... I think it looks great...

Yes, I had done that on my last steering column and also ground off the attachment point on the steering column and filled the hole... No issues...

Finally had time to work on the Monte this Sunday. First time since we moved south... Finished the installation of the 92-98 Buick Power Side Rear View Mirrors, they work! Next on the list: Florida Style Window Tinting & Installation of a Autometer GPS Speedometer Sensor... Then putting the interior back together and cleaning the Monte... -

I use the low profile valve covers... Same Booster as on the SBC. Tall Valve covers would be a challenge with the large booster... -
