Can anyone help got a new set of locks,1 key fits all, no problem taking the old 1 out but the new 1 goes in and turns to start and run but will not go to [you said a naughty!] and key will not come out. ANY IDEAS???????????????? I did get the transfer from crank widows to power windows finished after a vacation from H--L went to key largo to visit a friend and got the flu and a virus then after 3 weeks in bed was feeling pretty good and started to get a sore throat went to the walk in clinic and sure enough sick again finally made it back home and got a severe sinus infection I think I will just stay home from now on

Not drilled on mine but no problem when some one tells you where to look,now I will check for a dimple on any thing "LIKE THE RUBBER BOOTS FOR THE POWER WINDOW HARNESS" and they are there thanks to you all you made this a lot easier.At least I have all the tools I need. Bob

Thank you Dennis a picture is worth a 1000 words I think I got it now. I could see how it would work just dropping down from the original holes for the crank windows but now that you point out the dimple and where to drill it makes sense should have them all in tomorrow.........I HOPE.......then I can get the interior back it and crank it up the injectors have a tendency to clog when sitting to long (maybe not this time I put marine stable it the gas the last time it sat because of my prostate cancer surgery I had just the gas in it didn't think it made a diff since it was always in the garage and it has never been below62 or hotter than 74 in here. I looked again at your pics are they just of the front if so my front are not the problem it is the rear. Thanks for any help you can give. Bob

left the reg. power &none power right the rear panel you can see there are only holes for the none power bottom left is the front and it went in with no problem. like I said the spacing of the holes are off by a 1/4" front to rear and by 5" top to bottom.Does help you understand better? Bob

the spacing on the none power are 3 1/4 " and the spacing on the power are 3 1/2 " front to rear and 9 1/4 " top to bottom on the power and 5 1/4 ' top to bottom on the none power.Looks to me I will have to redrill for sure just trying tp make sure before I start drilling holes. thanks Bob

I got a set from yearone and a set from OPGI ,some places have plastic for the top support I would ask them to make sure you get the metal,much better. the set I got from OPGI had steel which I would much rather have and if you get unfinished then thats another thing you have to do mine are assembled and I like them. Bob But this is just my opinion

OK I need help,,,AGAIN,,,, I am trying to put the facrtory power windows in this 72 monte I have 2 sets and they are both from a 72 Monte the front I have in the rear nothing lines up any words of wisdom out there???????????? The factory crank is way smaller and looks like I will have to redrill if you know is that the answerr? the crank holes are 3 1/4 ans the power wondows are 3 1/2 plus from top to bottom the holes are twice as far apart. AS ALWAYS I THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR HELP BEFORE I GET IT. Bob

I bought the plastic and then got the metal and I am putting the metal on the Monte I have a LT1/4L60E set up and thought the metal would be better for grounding the computer and other electrical. I have the extra plastic they use to say that the metal would have to be redone on some of the hole line up but the ones I have are the same as the plastic,I laid the plastic over the metal and it looks like a match. I got mine at OPGI I think I would have to look up my paper work but I use Year One also. Bob

I have had Dobies my whole life. I luv them Sat I had to put my old man down He was almost 11 (JAN he would have been) I still get tears when I think of him he was my boy. He was 108 lbs. Got the last 3 from the Dobie rescue in south Fl.Here they both are Sammy is the black & tan. Thanks for all the B-day wishes
