  2. Hey, i just bought a 600cfm Holley and RPM performer intake. I am looking for 64cc aluminium heads. Here the camshaft I want 224/232 duration .473/.486 lift. What do you think about this ?
  3. Hi, I am looking for a replacement radiator. I was told copper is better than aluminium for street use. Do you agree ? Any recommendation ?

  5. Hi Bob, Yes, headers are on my todo list. I have installed dual exhaust last summer Does 1406 carbs performs better than Holley 4160 ? Last question... Is it worse the penny replacing the camshaft ?
  6. Hi, I want to hop up a little my 350. It's a L65, 350 2 bolts main, 2 barrels (and yes you can do burnouts ). I want to change the 2 barrels carb for a 4 barrels. Also engine needs new intake. According to you what is the best setup ? Which carb & intake would you choose to keep a good mileage, good torque between idle and 5000 rpm ? Holley or Edelbrock carb ? Air-gap style intake ? Thanks

  10. Hi, I just replaced the pinion seal on my rear-end. I did a little mistake, i didn't mark the pinion nut... Now I have to preload the pinion bearing. How much torque is needed ? I read somewhere between 8 to 10 INCH LBS. do you agree ?
  11. Thank you MG According to what I see, the cover looks like a 8,5" but the housing doesn't have the "ears" in the lower corner...
  12. Thank you Darren, yes your answer helps a lot !!! I ordered my pinion seal at Rockauto and I guess they made a mistake... I will contact them and ask for a 8,5" GM pinion seal .
  13. Hey buddies ! I need help identifying the rear-end of my 72 Monte. I ordered I new pinion seal but it doesn't fit at all... I just know it's 10 bolts... What's your opinion ?
  14. I also have a Van Nuys Monte, I found 1 under the back seats and another one under the carpet. Troy, I guess someone else found it before you do
  15. Installed my new carpet this week-end. It was a pain in the a** to install. It is a bit baggy near the backseats. I will try to steam it a little.

  17. Hi ! After reading Chevyss' topic, I am wondering how to rebuild my AC... I do not know if my compressor still works. the "clutch" seems to be destroyed, rotten... Is it possible to buy a new clutch ? What should I check ? Seal, hoses ? I do not want to break the bank

  21. I just refill the diff . It was half empty. The u-joint doesn't seems in very in good health. I know why i hear this clanking noise when I shift in drive. I will change the pinion seal and take a look inside the diff to check the condition of the gears...
