I asked, would have been to small and unreadable especially after it fades a little.
It also gives you the flexibility to add another Monte without having to worry about changing the tattoo.

Can anyone help me with some info how to remove the gauge cluster from a 72 Monte Carlo without full dash removal?
You can get the cluster out without pulling the entire dash. I have done it a couple times. you have to loosen the dash and slide it forward a few inches. Its very tight but it can be done. I have included a link that Dennis (MCFAN) did a write up a while back. Take your time.

He said radiation will get rid of it, because it is such a small amount and very low grade. We'll see were going to keep a close eye in it.
Mine was very large. My brother had his treated with radiation and all is good. Good luck

I agree, get tested. Today is my 10-year anniversary of having my prostate removed. The doctor told me that radiation would have never got rid of the cancer, and I would have been gone in 5 years.

My solution- for now! I finally found the right size leather cover- $15 on Amazon. It is Belinous size L1 and the most important thing- it has the stitching. This makes the install so much easier because you don't have to jam the needle through the holes in the leather a few hundred times. (I'd add a link but I can't even find it again - they must be out of L1).
It looks great, doesn't seem cheap and feels nice!
It looks great, and if you find the old wheel and want to get rid of it let me know.

This is the Heritage Archive Doc that shows the codes throughout the document and options in the back.

I heard the original owner kept the used parts in the merger. Maybe he pulled the nos and used parts out. I also heard he still owns the building.

My 70 was born with dark green interior. The first picture is from the guy I bought it from. New carpet, cleaned up the entire interior and new carpet on the door panels. I was asked if I would change out the interior to black, the answer was No, Thats the way it came and it's dark green so most people that see the car think it's black at first look.

Do you mean the original wheel? It is a cracked disaster!
They can be repaired, how is the horn button?? I might still be interested and try to repair it. Let me know

PS. If you decide to sell the black factory wheel let me know, I'd be interested.

They didn't come with the Rosewood wheel but the same wheel you have with black. I like the look of the rosewood. But now that you mention the burlwood contrast I see what you mean. If it bothers you you could try to sell it and get the black wheel. My car came with the standard wheel you had in the car but I put the sport wheel on.

I also went with plastic from the Parts Place. Nice quality, my drivers side dropped in and the passenger side needed a little help

I have an extra pump that I might want to get rid of. I have had the tank plated but I haven't had a chance to rebuild or test the pump to see if it holds pressure. Message me if you are interested.

Congratulations on the new SS. If you can't find it in print, there are a bunch of knowledgeable people on the site. It's the best 25.00 a year a Monte owner can spend. Good luck with your Monte

Glen. my car has the fiber optic ash tray light. My build sheet shows code U28 ASH TRAY LIGHT. I'm not sure if that helps

Denny, Dan (overdrive) makes the brackets. I thought I just saw that he posted a set. I bought them from Dan years ago, they are identical to factory. The diaphragm will be a hard find. Someone on the forum made some at one time.
