  1. Great to hear, Rob. Hoping and praying for a complete recovery.
  2. This has got to be so frustrating for you Rob. Do hang in there. May your doctors have wisdom beyond themselves.
  3. Will those rear tires rub if you take it down 2 inches, or will they tuck under? I like it, by the way. I'm a sucker for rake.
  4. Great to see you back, Mr. Peters. May the Lord increase your strength every day. It's good to have a good wife, eh?
  5. Great news, and get well soon, Rob. If you need someone to keep your cars exercised, just let us know.
  6. Man, I've never heard of anything like this coming from kidney stones. We're still praying for you Rob.
  7. Well, this is a first for me Rodney - I've never seen the inside of a seat belt buckle before - tons of junk in there after 40 years, eh? Looking great!
  8. It looks great Larry. Nice job.
  9. Useful option...back when people actually drove these cars in the rain...particularly in the NW.
  10. Which plant made your car Terry? My 70 was a Flint car and it had them.
  11. I got mine from Lowes - still have 1/2 the roll. Worked great!
  12. Hey Larry, did you ever try a 1/2" spacer to see if that was enough?

  14. I have the HEI with an Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock carb and I just restored and installed a factory GM 4bbl air cleaner set up. The only mod I had to make is to use the 1" spacer between the carb and the air cleaner for clearance. It all still fit well, and hood clearance was no problem either.
  15. I finished restoring the original air cleaner and successfully installed it.
  16. In the interest of full disclosure, I did finally find out what this was...believe it or not, a bad ball joint on the driver's side. It sure sounded like it was coming from the back, but the problem's gone.
  17. Unfortunately, today I realized that my rear defog no longer works. It worked when I installed the switch in the "new" dash, but not now. Hmmm.
  18. Oh, man...I just noticed that I have the same Chevrolet Racing floor mats!
  19. After putting a new battery in my truck this morning, I took the Monte for a ride. For a couple weeks, I've intended to snap some pics trying to get a little taste of Kentucky autumn color in with the car. I think I waited too long, but here are some of them:
  20. "Show stopper" indeed. Ignorance is bliss (when you're trying to pass something off as something it's not.)
