  1. Thanks but I have the original tach in my stock cluster. I'm gutting the large fuel gauge from my parts car to go in the clock spot.
  2. My plan is to have "Tachman" replace my amp gauge with a volt gauge, ditch the clock and put a large fuel gauge in its place then add an oil pressure gauge where the small fuel gauge was. The headache I'm sure will be the electrical. Not sure what to do about the PCB.
  3. Definitely not standard. My 70 402 4 speed did not come with PS
  4. Nuts! I wanted to run these in the back.
  5. I came across a pair of Firestone steel 10" wide 15" steel wheels with 5" backspace. Any chance they will fit in the rear of my 70 MC?
  6. Is the 4 speed shifter unique to the Monte or is it the same one as Chevelle?
  7. All great tips! Thanks to everyone! Car is in Oklahoma and Im in Wa State. So I'll be relying on pix alot. Nice to know what to ask for and look for. If I buy it I'll need to get it to the San Antonio area where my stepdad lives. Any transportaion suggestions? Its about 400 miles one way. May have to fly in and do it myself.
  8. Thanks! First thing I did was check your site for pix. I was hoping for a good pic from the top.
  9. But would an car with AT in the console have PRND21 in the speedo?
  10. I have a lead on a 1970 Monte Carlo 402 4 speed. Missing the trans. I was wondering what to look for physically on the car that will confirm it was a factory 4 speed. Anything on the hump different from an AT console shifter? No pop or build sheet that I know of. Pedals are there. Thanks!
