where do you buy welders and stuff then?

I have a 30 gallon air compressor so airs not a problem and my dads freind is a electrition so powers not an issue. I need a stronger impact wrench and air wrench I need a welder but I wouldnt use full time. like for welding holes shut or puting in a peice of sheet metal. until i get my car

I will be doing some wet sanding sanded half the truck with 400 grit and I am getting the paint and clear coat for this weekend. So by monday it should be painted unless Its raining or something.

how do you know how much it needs to be cut?

Okay thats what I thought What kind of stuff do you use for polishing after paint? I have a polisher But I dont know what to use for that.

could you sand the clear coat with 2000 and then use a polisher to polish it? would that give you the same results? And what kind of polish do you use for polishing after painting?

You can try testing the thermostat by putting it in boiling water It should open if not its bad I hope you can fix it.

I would like to remove most of the old wiring If It needs it For starters I think I would start at replacing the radio and speakers. Is replacing the speakers hard? I would want to start with something simple and work my way up to replacing some thing like wiring harnesses.

yeah my grand dad had his 1939 ford rewired by a guy my and grand dads dad gave him a car instead of money. I have a factory assembaly instruction manual for 1972 chevelle and elcamino / monte carlo ... I dont understand the pictures. I have heard of wiring books but I dont know if that would be for the monte carlo or not. I hope I dont have to deal with wiring but I would like to learn how to deal with some wiring issues.
