  1. Hi Tom I have to go talk to them tomorrow. They are open 8-5 I believe.Anyways I just paid $360 a new driveshaft. So I would say thats would be about the same cost for you to have a whole shaft built. Now if you already have one 1350 yoke on the drive shaft I would think if they can cut the other end off and put a new 1350 yoke on that end I would say it would be under $200. I am sure any 1310 no grease fitting would handle ok HP
  2. yea I have to call Winers tomorrow they put the grease fitting joints in mine so I am not too thrilled about that.
  3. Tom I had a new driveshaft made for my car at Sam Winers and I asked them what they charge for shortening a shaft .He said the cost is $75.If you drop it off in the morning they can usually have it done before they close at 5pm.
  4. There on Mogadore road is C&U driveshaft thats who did my first shaft.. he seems to be a little high on price.I am going to go by Sam Weiners(sp) on old Waterloo I here he is decent priced and I need a new shaft made.I wouldnt go aluminum anyways I know a few guys who went that route and they didnt last

  6. Well there is an easy way to check if the convertor is all the way back. That is whne you bolt the tranny back to the motor and all bolts are tight the convertor should be away from the flywheel and spin freely if it does not spin freely then the convertor is not all the way back

  13. Thanks,Drive shaft needs fixed and maybe needs replaced,Broke the front universal and the yoke has an ear broke off, plus the yoke doesnt want to come out of the tranny at this point LOL It moves in and out about 1" so not sure if there is a problem or not. Will pull it and drop it off to my tranny guy to have him look at it.I believe I have some broken teeth in the rear end so need to pull it out and check it :)The car went 9.98@133 the pass before it broke but they didnt video that pass...
