For those who are staying at The Dalles Inn, I have arranged for the hotel to block off an area of the parking lot just for us. There is less worry about door dings this way. If you choose to park directly in front of your room instead, that will be OK too.
A few more details regarding the meeting place:
From I5, take the 38th street exit and go West on 38th street. Take a left on S. Steele St.
Make a left onto Tacoma Mall Blvd.
Follow Tacoma Mall Blvd until you get to Krispy Kreme (right near Sears).

PEOPLE WITH TRAILERS
The place who is providing trailer parking has requested that you provide a photocopy of your trailer insurance papers. Please bring an extra copy with you to the meet. If for some reason you forget to make the copy, I'm certain we can find a place locally to make a copy (maybe even the hotel).
My spare is placed upside down like the stock setup. I put spare belts and heater hoses in the rim and put a colour keyed hub cap (I have a set of them) on the rim to hide it. It makes it look pretty clean in the trunk. I even made sure to mount the tire with the letters in so they are visible when the tire is in the trunk.
How many people are bringing ezup canopies? Jake and Dave will have one. Anyone else?
I'm trying to figure out if I should haul my 10x10 canopy down or not. It is heavy and is the type that needs to be assembled. I've brought it to past meets and it takes about 5 people and a couple expletives to put together. I don't want to haul it in my trunk if it is not needed.
If any of you have a laptop with a webcam, please bring it if you can. I'm not sure if we will find the opportunity to do a webcast but we can certainly try.
There are some who are bringing kids but not sure how many yet. I'm coming by myself on this trip.
As for drag racing, I'm undecided. The car isn't tuned quite right and I have some other issues.
Royce will be addressing the trailer storage question soon.
I'm looking forward to seeing you and Gwen again.
Regarding trailer parking, Royce has found a Toyota Dealership 5 blocks away that is secure (gated) and we could use that for a small fee. He's technically not asking for anything but may want a few $$$. My guess is that you would not be able to access the trailers outside their business hours. Royce will be getting more details on this but does this sound OK?

There are some others who I have heard from recently who are very likely to make it but not 100% yet. There are also several who posted a while ago saying they will be coming but don't appear to have booked a room. If there is anyone who has not yet informed me they are coming to the meet, please send me a PM or email.
The FGMCC will provide some water and pop throughout the weekend. Royce and I will each bring a big cooler but it would be nice to have more large coolers to keep this stuff cold for the group on car show day. If you can fit one in your trailer, it may come in handy during the weekend.
This has nothing to do with the V12 but it does add to Dave's post.
Dave and I met a retired GM interior designer at a rest area coming back from the 2004 Western Meet. I had my Monte there and he was taking a really good look at it. He explained to us about being on the interior design team for the 70 Monte and one of his designs he submitted was to make it a 4 seater where the console goes from the dash all the way back into the back seat.
