ClassicJJ Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 I have a 70 monte with the orginal 350 4bbl set up but back by the 200 4r. The issue I'm having is I'm hearing this clacking noise from the motor it's not very loud at all and the motor still feels fine. My dad seems to think it's an oil pump Eco. stangeba Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 Are you running the stock oil pump and stock distributor? You may want to pull out the dist and inspect the gear.
