monte70car Posted October 2, 2014 Share Posted October 2, 2014 So I've been working on finishing the rear brakes on the 72. Last week I got my Wilwood parking brake cable which is long enough to reach the end coming from the fire wall. I've sent Wilwood an email asking if their kit can be use with our factory parking brake cable and was told it would need to be modify it to use the stock intermediate cable but there is no way to join the cable for the Wilwood cable to the intermediate cable. I would really like to use the front parking brake cable since the cable is long enough to reach and it has the option for both cables to meet at one point. monte70car Posted October 2, 2014 Author Share Posted October 2, 2014 Scott we figured out the next best thing. We drilled out the threads in the block so it slides onto the front parking cable.
