John S Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 Just replaced printed circuit everything works fine except gas gauge. Gauge worked fine before now the gauge reads a little over full when it was a between 3/4 and full before. I have 6.32 volts at one side of the gauge where the tan wire goes. I have 6.14 volts at the connection in trunk. This happened before when I first got car gauge seemed top be stuck at full then operated fine after running tank down. I'm thinking sending unit. I know I have about 3/4 tank going by previous reading. Gauge worked fine before so I'm leaning toward sending unit. All connections including grounds have been cleaned. Any thoughts?
