54fighting Posted January 6, 2015 Share Posted January 6, 2015 I am the new owner of a 72 Monte Carlo and am trying to sort out the heating for now. The previous owner removed most of the AC components along with two switches, relays, resistors that I assume control the blower motor. If someone could look at the picture and guide me in the right direction to what I need to buy I would appreciate it. The two red arrows point at where these switches would go. stangeba Posted January 6, 2015 Share Posted January 6, 2015 I took this picture (follow link) that shows what you are missing. I think one is the resistor block that would give you the different speeds and the other may be a temperature sensor that may prevent A/C compressor engagement when temps are below about 35 degrees F.. My 71 is NO A/C. I was going to add A/C and have this case (and all the other stuff) in the basement.
