Guest Posted May 12, 2001 Share Posted May 12, 2001 Hey everyone. I have a '72 Monte with a 454, and the stock, low style valve covers. I just bought a set of roller rockers and i was wondering if i will need a taller valve cover? Additionally, with a taller valve cover, on the driver side, the valve cover will hit the vacuum booster. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what valve cover did you go with? Guest Posted May 13, 2001 Share Posted May 13, 2001 I have stock covers on my 468 with roller rockers. I used two rubber gaskets under each side. I used 3M trim adhesive and glued the gaskets together so they wouldnt slide around. They have never leaked and you cant tell they are there.
