sredmyer
So in the new (to me) car I just got, the material on both sail panels has come unglued. The material looks fine just need to reattach it on the back side. Problem is, I have no idea how to remove the sail panels. Can someone explain how this is done. Canuck
You need to remove the back seat, rear arm rest and rear side panels. The widlace where the sail panel meets the quarter window needs to be pulled off as well. If your package tray needs replacing this is a good time to do that also. Canuck
The bottom of the rear seat does not require any tools to be removed. At the bottom you will be able to see the two brackets that hold it in place. Push the bottom of the seat frame towards the rear of the car to release from the bracket. The top half of the rear seat has two bolts at the bottom that you remove then lift it off. The arm rest has 2 screws at the front and then 2 screws usually hold the metal filler panel to the side panel. The side panel can then be removed. In the case of crank windows you will need to reach in with a thin tool to pop off the pin holding the crank.
