Machtuck Posted August 28, 2020 Share Posted August 28, 2020 Hi Guys, i found this odd looking clip in my work drawer and quite sure it came from my 72’ Monte. I posted this in the suspension forum as i think it may be related to the master cylinder brake lines. Just not sure. Thanks for any help. jft69z Posted August 28, 2020 Share Posted August 28, 2020 It holds the 2 brake lines coming up from the proportioning valve to the master cylinder (CLIP - item #8). There should be a couple of rubber grommets (item 7) that fit over the spiral lined brake line too (couple pieces of rubber hose would work). It bolts to the brake booster bracket, near the firewall.
