Alex & Keith 72 Monte Posted November 3, 2022 Share Posted November 3, 2022 I am within a week of inserting my new 350 and have everything marked up to connect. Photo of the electrical line factory wrapped that runs to the alternator. On top of the passenger side valve cover I have a blue/brown wire connector with nothing connected (to old engine). Might never have been connected. Second photo of the same line prior to my engine going in next week. Can someone advise on this connector? I have the other brown wire on drivers side going to my brake proportioning valve and another blue wire going to TPC sensor behind distributor and I’m running HEI distributor. Thanks in advance. Scott S. Posted November 3, 2022 Share Posted November 3, 2022 I believe it connects to the TCS selenoid on Quadrajet carbs. (see bottom of pic.) If you've gone to HEI ignition and an aftermarket carb, it's just a deleted wire. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
