Guest Posted May 30, 2005 Share Posted May 30, 2005 we just switched over to a edelbrock performer 600cfm carb today. It still has the original throttle bracket. It looks good but the only problem is that the tranny cable isn't long enought and the throttle seems to bind. Is has anyone done one of these and is there any tricks to fix it quick. Guest Posted May 30, 2005 Share Posted May 30, 2005 Get rid of that original throttle bracket, and buy the Edelbrock one. It clears up all of the problems. If I remember right I had to bend it slightly toward the carb, but that was the only adjustment I had to make with the Edelbrock bracket. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I ordered mine today and Ill let you know how it works. I dont have the part # at home, its in the car, but Ill email you the # tomorrow.
