Andy's Auto Posted July 11, 2009 Share Posted July 11, 2009 Air bags can be found in the steering wheel of any post 1989 car. I used a single in the right rear of my Malibu for years. So long in fact it rotted out. It definately made a difference on launch. It took out the cars tendency of pulling hard to the left on take off. Traction was never an issue with or without it.
