502ci Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 If you are going for originality then go with the plastic strap like Jim mentioned. Back when I was running the factory fan shroud I never used a strap, mainly cuz it broke and just never got another one so I installed a stainless band clamp so you could only see the smooth part (not the notches) around the hose where it made contact with the shroud...kept it from wearing a hole in it.
