Austin90
Hey guys my th350 lost 2nd and 3rd so I picked up a rebuilt th400. The th400 looks to be about an inch and a half longer than the 350, so I'm guessing the driveshaft has to be cut about a inch and a half. And I know the yoke has to be changed for the th400. Is there anything else that has to be done?
Ian
The yoke is different, and yeah you will have to shorten the driveshaft or get one from a Monte that had the TH400. The kickdown on a TH400 is electric controlled by a switch down by the gas pedal..
Mike 57
Dip stick tube is different also and most of the aftermarket ones hit the firewall
