Forrest D. Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 trying to work another bug out of this recently restored gem. The dome light, and the light in the back of the Console stays on, and drains the battery down. I checked the door switches, and they dont appear to be sticking at all...What else could it be, anyone else ever have this issue?? LS5 Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Hey Forrest, Its the headlight switch..... when you turn the switch all the way to one side it turns on the dome light and console light and they stay on until rotated back..But what usually happens is the little finger that turns on the inside of the switch travels along a coiled spring and the tiny rivit breaks off and the finger slides and and sticks and keeps those lights on as if the dial is still turned on...
