Carla's King
I bought a dirt cheap 1970 chevelle gas tank, but the filler neck is straight and mine is sort of S curved. Is there anyway for me to bend the chevelle tank into that S, or remove the two necks and switch them without blowing up my house?
Leghome
A radiator repair shop might be able to change the necks
Monteman1971
Hmmmmm... A 1970 Chevelle gas tank should be the same as a Monte's....you sure of what you have? If it's a "California" Chevelle tank and your Monte is also a California Monte, they should both have the same vent tubes on the top rear..... check both before you go through the expense of changing the necks. Carla's King
Well turns out I was able to repair the monte tank. Both tanks have all the same connector pieces, but one is a straight neck, whilst the other is a goose neck.
