Guest Posted January 28, 2007 Share Posted January 28, 2007 I was wondering if all bumper jacks for 1st Gen' Montes are marked 1970 Monte Carlo or is each year stamped on the bumper hook? I know the complete jack in my car is not correct as the hook reads 1968 Chevelle and the stand is too long to fit in the space designated for the jack. Guest Posted January 28, 2007 Share Posted January 28, 2007 Some have the year and some don't. Mine just says monte carlo and part #. But a friend has a 71 also and his says 1971 monte carlo same part #. Mine also has the solid steel jack shaft that is kind of like a y shape when viewed from the top, and others have the hollow type jack shaft. I guess the differ from plant to plant.
