Blue502 Posted December 22, 2012 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Has anyone got a pic of the Corvette pan from the side or a measurement of how deep the pan is?I like to see how it compares to my crate 502 pan.I was told mine was a truck pan.It clears everthing except the ground.;)Does the Vette pan hang this low? Mine measures 7 & 3/4 inches from the pan rail to the lowest point on the front of the sump. Mine appears to be very slightly shorter than the lowest point of the C-member. My question to anyone using this oil pan is did you use the 4 oil pan rails that can buy bought for this oil pan. I just wondered if I needed these so it wouldnt be as apt to oil leak failure.
