Guest Posted October 31, 2002 Share Posted October 31, 2002 Ed QJet numbers break down as follows: All start with either 170 or 70 Next 2 digits are the year. 41 = 1971 Next digit designates 49 state or California. 2 = 49 state, 5 = CA Next digit is the product ID. 0,1,2 all = Chevrolet Last digit is the trans type.
