footballubet
I want to put a serpentine belt system and reinstall my ac compressor but looking to move it to the right side. I'm looking for custom lines to finish it off nice. Has anybody used a company that makes them? If so, what company. My local A/C guys only make the standard rubber lines with generic fittings. That's not what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance. Also...any pictures would be a great help!
wallaby
Oh, you are looking for something like a braided teflon hose with AN fittings or something?

NewTimer
Aeroequip is a good place. http://aeroquip.cc/aeroquip-ez-clip.aspx They also offer EZ clip lines so you dont have to press the fittings only down fall is the tool to clip they is like 200 bucks but neat idea. (Note: you dont need to use ezclip just an option.
wallaby
Just to clarify; braided teflon hoses have a stainless braid. From the outside, the braided rubber and braided teflon hose looks the same...but the rubber versions are for low-pressure aplications like fuel lines and water hoses. Teflon hoses are rated for higher pressures like AC, brake lines, and power steering. You will need to find the correct fittings and ends to use these hoses, but once the fittings are in, you can cut the hose to fit and assemble them yourself. Chris
I run an 87 Corvette serpentine belt system using an R4 compressor with custom lines. Had them made by http://www.rayeveritt.com/ Quick turnaround. Pictures of my install can be found on my page. https://picasaweb.google.com/109896750363574700634/1971MonteCarloRed#5175410954274146082
