Thanks James. That link you posted is for a 3” flex. There is no way that will fit our Montes. 3 1/4” ID fits and that takes some effort to get it on. The vendor sent me 3” and then they sent me 3 1/4” and that took a week to get it. I almost bought a 3 1/2 from Mc master & Carr. What a pain.

James did you install this 3” flex hose on the plenum box and the other end on the vent?
-
Can anyone that has there Monte apart confirm the sizes of the AC Flex Hoses in the dash. I think the Right side is 3 1/4” . ID and the two smaller ones are 1 3/4” ID. Can you measure them for me and measure the length of the three. I included pictures from the Assembly Manual. I also found a suppler for these hoses but I need the correct size. I’ll post that info soon. The small hoses connect to the lap vents.

I have always used springs off a 70 Monte. They are larger. They hold up my hood and I have mirror finish stainless steel under my hood.

I’m adding a power trunk lock to my Monte. I don’t want the trunk to fly open. In the picture I included it shows 3 notches, does anyone know which one will let the trunk come up a couple of inches. Plus any tips how to move the rods in the correct position.

Try to check this out. The COVID shot that just got approval for children from 5-11. Try to check out on TV the yellow cap on the glass bottle of the vaccination.

I will take one. Will a check work? I can always send you cash in the mail. Let me know. Also I can Pay Pal you.

Yes Dennis I’m very aware of the studs in the wrong place. Just don’t understand why they can’t get a simple thing like reading a ruler and putting them in the correct place. Do your original ones have a flat side that will look up like the repops? Thanks for the help.

My question is what’s up and down on the installation of these Part Place hockey sticks? The number one picture is flat and number two has a bezel. The bezel side matches the bottom of the center molding which would make the flat side the top. Let me know how you installed them or just give me thoughts of the questions.

I also used drywall push ins. Put some glue on the outside and push them in. Wait 24 hours and screw them in. Mine held for years.

Thanks Roger. I have a few NOS in their boxes. I also have the correct hubcaps in mint condition and added 4 NOS centers on them. This also was years ago.

The best top you can buy is from Legendary out of New York. It is cut perfect to fit our tops. Others are not and need a lot of stretching to make it fit correctly. The seams on the back end should line up with the trunk edge and not where the Chevelle’s are

How much did you pay for those centers?

I’ll try again. Might be the longer time. I’ll try later.

Changed my wheels back to my rally wheels and my raised white letters which stay white. The Charger wheels are for sale with tires. 245/60 R15. Glass installed.

That dust boot looks wrong. Maybe someone changed the column. Only my 2 cents.

Hey Delmonte. Maybe someday we can meet half way. I think you are around 70 miles from PSL. I was a snowbird for 5 years. I had a condo in Vero beach. I hav a neighbor with the last name Delmonte. Also there is Sal Monte.

I have been living in Port St Lucie, Fl for two years as of 7 Aug. Covet 19 held me back for crossing the Connecticut boarder. Kept thinking when I would get there. Sorry for the sideway pictures. I know everyone likes pictures so I ll keep posting them.
