So far this is what I’ve found out. AMD or Jeg’s don’t carry the 3 pc kit with the under rails. I don’t want a 1 pc. I will try Summit next.

I have been finding out that no one makes a replacement trunk floor for our Monte’s, only Chevelle’s. Need input on what brand is the best. AMD says they don’t offer one and the Chevelle is not a real replacement for the Monte. You would have to make it fit if you have the skills. I think I can make it right but I only wish the other vendors would be upfront on the fit. I can’t believe no one makes it for a 3 year model. Let me know how your install went.

Can someone take a measurement from the front of the front tire to the front center of the hood.I’m installing a lift and I need to know how much space to leave from the front of the car to the wall. Thanks

Where you able to get the floor in through the trunk opening. Or from underneath?

Is that a one piece trunk floor or 3 PCs?

Was your Monte a 350 and changed to a big block? If so did you change your front springs? Maybe that would help with the headers.

Thanks Joe. My Monte is in Connecticut at my cousins body shop. His glass guy says he doesn’t need it because the Urethane he uses firms up fast and the Florida heat won’t soften it.🥵. I did it years ago with butyl. Never had a problem. No one what’s to used that anymore. He’s been dragging his feet to getting it done. I think I will order 2 rolls from belden and have them shipped to my cousin. Thanks for the help and I trust your judgment. Anyone that could build back a Monte like yours is tops with me.

Has anyone used this Dam Tape to hold back the urethane from going into your car on replacing the windshield and back glass? Can you post the size tape you used. I’m finding on line to use 3/16x3/16. I really think it should be thicker.

When I made that plate that I sent to Kevin I had just enough to cover the plate. The elm burl came in a 6” roll. I tried to get more but it was discontinued.

You can buy this hood at the Parts Place and Jegs. Golden Star makes them.

Mike. I think all they work would just look like the one being sold. Some members have done that in the past. check out US Body Source. They offer a fiberglass hood with what I think looks correct. Im looking for the correct scoop And doing that on a stock hood that I have in storage.

Looking at the first picture doesn’t appeal to me but the side picture looks better. I was really thinking about buying one. I think I will wait. I wish they would make that scoop in a longer version so you could add it to your own hood. I have two extra hoods in storage for years. The search begins. Any input where to buy that scoop would be great.

Tony what is the price on this? Looks pretty nice.

Going by memory I think the front has two different size fiber cables. I think the larger one goes to the signal light and the smaller goes to the head light.

Are you fiber cables old. If so you might have breaks inside. Try a flash light. Also make sure the fiber end is cut at a 90 degree.

Mine had no numbers. They were cheap china crap. CCC!

They did the same thing to me. On their web site they show body mount GM kits with the GM number On them. I ordered a set but they sent crap mounts. I called them and complained and they said to send them back. I did. The next time I ordered I found out they blocked me out. Not very good customer service. Took 2 years in prison. Seemed to go away because they opened a eBay store my others. It went away. I still order from them because they have thing no one else has.

Do you have in line tube part number for this bumper or the correct description for it. I searched their web site with no luck finding them. Thanks
